Please Take a Moment of Silence

I'm sure everyone has heard about the tragic events in Tucson, Arizona Saturday morning. Lives were lost and lives were shattered in only a few brief moments. Six lives were unjustly taken. John Roll, a federal judge; Gabriel Zimmerman, who worked as a staffer for Giffords; Christina Greene, 9 born on 9/11/01; Phyllis Scheck, 79; Dorothy Morris, 76; and Dorwin Stoddard, 76. Please pray for these families who lost their son, their daughter, their grandmother, their brother, their sister, their wife, their husband, and their friend. Please pray for the 14 victims wounded and please pray for their families as well. Please pray for Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords, for her speedy and full recovery, and pray for her family as well.

I will touch briefly on the ridiculous political warfare circulating in the mass media. I feel that neither side should give this outrageous notion the time of day. Yes, it was started by the left wing media, however it should not have been carried on by either side. This is a matter of personal responsibility, not political influence. This man acted on his own will, not for the supposed right wing cause.

Please take the time to think of the victims of this horrible event, rather than pointing fingers.

"We must reject the idea that every time a law's broken, society is guilty rather than the lawbreaker. It is time to restore the American precept that each individuals is accountable for his actions."
-Ronald Reagan

God Bless,
Chelsea
